2025-2026 Richey PTO Community Partner Program

The teachers and parents of Richey Elementary School are dedicated to providing high quality learning experiences to all of their students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. We, the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (“PTO”), are excited to offer you the opportunity to help us continue this successful pattern in our children’s education by joining the Richey PTO Community Partner Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

Richey Elementary School is a Title 1 school right here in Newport, Delaware. The designation of Title 1 means that the majority of our students come from low income families. The support of local businesses and families benefits our students, staff, and community. Contributions from Community Partners allow us to provide fun and free events (such as Trunk or Treat, BINGO, Glow Dance, and much more) for our students, help teachers and our school with supplies, teacher appreciation, and so much more!

We are offering three different levels of sponsorship, along with other ways to help our school. Community Partners will be recognized in many ways. Please see below for details about the different levels.

In addition to the tangible benefits, we believe sponsors will be proud to be connected to the children of the community, experience the pleasure of philanthropic giving, and develop school pride by joining the PTO Community Partner Program at Richey Elementary School.

The Richey PTO Community Partner Program Donation Form is linked below. Complete all fields as you would like them to appear in print for the public. Please submit to the Richey PTO by October 31, 2025 (deadline just extended). Since the Richey PTO is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your contribution will be tax-deductible. Upon receipt of donation, we will send you an acknowledgment of thanks including all information necessary for your tax deduction.

• 18″ x 24″ yard sign with company information by the entrance to all PTO meetings and events held at school throughout 2025-2026 school year

In-Kind Donations

Merchandise or gift certificate donations will either be used for things such as teacher appreciation gifts, prizes for BINGO, or prizes for our fundraiser auction. Refreshments are always needed for student and staff events. Your business will be recognized according to the size/value of your donation at the PTO’s discretion. Other Sponsorships

If you are interested in sponsoring a specific PTO event or item for the school, we have multiple options available to you. Your business could sponsor an event, such as Trunk or Treat, BINGO, or our school dance. You could also sponsor a staff lunch. Your business will be recognized accordingly at the PTO’s discretion.
